Driving Miss Daisy Didcot

Availability information last updated: 12th December, 2025

With a strong background in the care sector and a natural passion to help people, husband-and-wife team Zororo Mubaya and Terence Kavuru opened our transport and companion service on Wantage Road in Didcot in July 2019 to assist anyone of any age who needs a hand.

We provide a much needed and valued service bridging the gap between taxis, public transport and voluntary agencies; and primarily helping senior citizens, families and vulnerable people.

We offer assistance of all kinds ranging from help with shopping trips to support at family events or even just spending a couple of hours chatting or playing board games with someone who might spend a lot of time alone.  We are trained in first aid, handling of people and DBS checked.

Our companion drivers collect people from their door, drive them to their destination, provide whatever help they may require and take them safely back home.   Alternatively, we don’t need to go anywhere and can simply be a companion in your own home.

All of our vehicles are mobility enabled and accessible to all wheelchair types.  Each can carry multiple passengers and one wheelchair and have ample cargo space.

With our experience we wanted to take our transferable skills and experiences supporting people who have a need for the transport and companionship that Driving Miss Daisy – often described as ‘family when family can’t be there’ – can offer.

Please get in touch with any questions you may have, contact details below, thank you.
