D’Vine Singers

We are a friendly Wellbeing Choir, who meet to enjoy singing for fun and companionship.  We started out in 2014 as part of a research study into singing and mental health.  Having shown that singing in a supportive group is hugely beneficial in all sorts of ways, we’ve carried on independently with grant funding, which means we can offer free sessions.  We meet on Fridays in term time from 12.00 – 1.30 at the Vine Baptist Church on Park Lane in Sevenoaks and you can drop in any time, even if you can’t make a regular commitment.  We sing a wide range of songs, from rounds and spirituals to folk music from around the world, all taught by ear so you don’t need to read music.  There are no auditions – everyone is welcome!  There’s plenty of roadside parking and we enter via the little blue door at the side of the building.  To find out more, please ring Jacky, on 07708 237418 or email jacky.hintze@outlook.com.
