Elite Care Respite Services

My name is Nigel and I am a micro-care provider offering a respite service. I have over 12 years of experience in the adult healthcare sector, supporting people with dementia, visual and hearing impairment and with various physical and mental disabilities. I am able to offer personal care.

Being a carer for a loved one can be very difficult at times, both physically and mentally. To ensure that you don’t burn yourself out, having a break is so important. So that’s where I come in, to provide the care and support for your loved one which enables you to have a break.

‘Every family carer needs to take regular short breaks from their daily routine to re-charge their batteries’

Whether it is to be able to go for an appointment, shopping or more importantly, spending time to yourself and meeting up with friends and other family members, then I can offer the time for you to do this. It is of upmost importance that you know that your loved one is being cared for and supported in a person-centred manner. I take clients out to cafes and museums, I also go out for walks which is invaluable for someone’s health and well-being.

My qualifications are :

Level 2 in the Principles of Dementia Care, Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care Level 2,

Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work, Up to date Enhanced DBS,

Full clean Driving Licence inc Business insurance & Public Liability Insurance

I am able to supply many excellent reviews from my current and previous clients.

All we want as human beings is to be treated with respect, dignity, empathy and compassion and that’s exactly what I do.
