Empathy and Independence

Hello! My name is Jeff, I have 28 years’ experience in Social Care working for the NHS and Social Services building strong rapports with the people I work with.  I love working and interacting with others and helping to solve problems. I want to promote independence and a happy life by listening, assisting, and enabling. I offer a friendly, caring, and thoughtful helping hand for people who are finding things a bit tough with their mental health. Being a good listener helps me work closely with the people I visit to figure out exactly how I can help, creating adaptable, positive plans that puts you first.
My background includes working closely with individuals and families facing really overwhelming patches in life or managing difficult mental health struggles. I have also spent lots of time helping families stay safely together through tough periods, and supporting people recovering from major life changes like strokes, visual impairments, and physical disabilities.
I am naturally empathetic, rely on good old-fashioned common sense, and am reliable, diligent and provide a service that feels warm, kind, and professional.
