Focus and Flow

Availability information last updated: 5th November, 2025

Hi I’m Lauren from Focus and Flow. I began facilitating workshops whilst working with women in or at risk of the criminal justice system, using playful ice breakers and exercises to build collaboration and fun. The workshops created such an uplifting and safe environment it enabled attendees to let their guards down and fully engage. The results of this was a keen desire for those attending to engage in more of the workshops. I have picked this up and run with it continue to deepen my understanding of Applied Theatre through completing a degree and a Masters in Applied Theatre. I then decided I wanted this playfulness to be experienced by everyone and so I created Focus and Flow.

Our workshops are designed to spread joy, unity and collaboration through targeted applied theatre using creative exercises. Applied Theatre uses exercises to  tell stories of and unite communities.

We are also able to collaborate with organisation to become a permanent fixture in your organisation to ensure that a long term commitment of wellbeing through creative structured groups are held ensuring that staff feel as though their personal and team wellbeing is invested in.

If you would like to see a range of the introductory ice breaker exercises take a look at my You tube channel – see below.
