Gentle Touch Care Services were recommended to me for my uncle who has dementia through Alzheimer’s. He is in the moderate to late stage now and needs a lot of support through the day so that we can respect his ongoing wish to stay in his own home for as long as possible.

Since Gentle Touch have been involved in my Uncle's care he has enjoyed meaningful social interactions 3 times a week for a couple of hours each time. His mood in general has improved; he just seems like a happier person and that is amazing to see!

For some time now, I've been saying that I just needed another me in my world, because I'm the sole carer for my Dad already and it has been stressful being the only person coordinating care for my Uncle too (all on my own). Stephanie and her team have granted my wish! I'm not entirely off the hook, but I know that they will support me however they can and if they can.

Who would ever have thought anyone could bring my dad out of his shy self but these guys did, with occasional help with meals and meds to help us out making sure he was awake and safe always intouch, when things got tough end of life at home we refused social services and stuck with gaz and Steph. They really were something else at this point they just took control of situations trying to give us respite there till the very end never faltered absolutely brilliant feel nothing can ever repay them for the comfort of his final days

I am currently supported by Steph and have been for the last two years, I cannot reccomend her enough. She is professional, hardworking, friendly and very caring. She always goes above and beyond.
She has helped me so much over the last two years enabling me to get out into the community help sort my finances, and helped me with enabling me with cooking skills and much more.
