Help in the home or garden, Personal care, Socialising, companionship and friendship, User led,
My name is Gill
I am a mature, self employed personal care assistant. Although I am now in my 70s, I have a wealth of experience in caring for clients in the community. My background is mainly in district nursing so I have worked in a wide variety of caring roles.
Feb’26- UPDATE
As I am older now, I am now available for sitting services or care and support at a gentle pace. I can provide friendly company and care to people who are closer in age to myself. Ideally I would like to offer visits/ support for about 1-2 hrs at a time in Exeter (or nearby).
I would also consider short-term support (e.g. to cover a family member who needs a little bit of respite for occasional days) and could possibly consider longer visits in such cases.
ABOUT ME
I retired from nursing in 2020 and now feel I would like to give assistance to others as the demand on the NHS is ever increasing. I am trustworthy and reliable, respect dignity, choices and confidentiality at all times, promoting independence and good health.
I am very much family oriented, sociable and friendly. I have a daughter and son, three grandsons and a great grandson who all keep me young at heart.
I like to keep fit; my hobbies include walking, dancing, swimming, badminton and listening to music. I also like to read when I have the time
Areas: Exeter and surrounding villages
Languages: English only
