Hi I’m Mel, founder of Good Company Sefton. I created Good Company for people who may not need formal care but would benefit from a little extra support to stay independent, connected and confident in everyday life.

What might a Good Company visit look like?

It could be

• getting out for coffee or lunch
• shopping or running errands
• attending an appointment
• going for a walk or enjoying a favourite activity
• simply having some company at home

A little about me

I have many years’ experience across health and social care, including supported living, disability services and NHS social prescribing. I believe that good support starts with getting to know the person, their interests, routines and what matters to them.

I support older adults who may benefit from regular companionship, help getting out and about or a little extra support to stay independent and connected.

I can also provide one to one support for adults with learning disabilities, including support to build confidence and independence, access the community, enjoy hobbies and activities, attend appointments or simply get out and about to do more of the things they enjoy.

With Good Company, you’ll see the same familiar face, allowing trust and a genuine relationship to develop over time and offering reassurance to families too.

Good Company does not provide personal care, medication administration or clinical care.
