Lenka's approach to my mother's care totally redefined what I thought good care was. Mum has Alzheimers, but Lenka ensured she still had a fantastic life in her care. She kept things 'fresh' with Mum, taking time to research events and activities in the area that really suit Mum's personality and preferences. Mum had things to do almost every week day. Lenka always responded so sensitively to Mum's moods and adapted the plan for the day whenever Mum wasn't feeling up to much. I was always so impressed by her use of humour to keep the mood light (how she had Mum dressed, laughing and dancing in the living room with her when she'd been throwing things at me before her arrival 20 mins earlier still amazes me!).
And it's not just Mum. Lenka helped me so much too. She helped me navigate the system to find the right places to ask for help. She would always understand when I needed a hug or to vent my feelings. When she could tell I'd had enough, she'd cook extra food at lunch so I didn't have to when I arrived in the evening. She was always looking for more ways she could take pressure off me.
Lenka is a remarkably resourceful, resilient and empathetic person and a truly wonderful carer who takes pride in her work. Her cooking is fantastic too! I cannot recommend highly enough.

Lenka has been amazing with our daughter. She is extremely pro-active, very skilled and highly professional. She is super flexible and helps think things through week by week. Highly recommended!!
