Ask to see a provider’s portfolio

This symbol means that the enterprise leader has a portfolio (folder) containing all the elements that show how they meet our Doing It Right Standards. It will provide you with information on the way that they work, checks they have in place, policies, procedures, and more. You can ask to see it to help you make any care choices.

Hi, I’m Hannah.

I have lived and worked in Bury St Edmunds for over 20 years, helping people in West Suffolk to work on what matters to them.

At times, we all need a helping hand from someone we can trust, to get back on track or to help us overcome a difficult situation. Maybe you feel you only need help for a certain length of time, or maybe you would like to see someone regularly to keep on top of things.

I have supported people from all sorts of backgrounds, in particular those living with mental health conditions. I have extensive relevant training, an enhanced DBS, and am fully insured.

I take pride in having a friendly, professional approach, helping people find meaning and enjoyment in their lives, and to achieve things that may at first seem out of reach.

With many years of experience, I am able to offer short term or longer term help with:

  • Help around the home and garden
  • Organising and decluttering
  • Help with pets
  • Help with budgeting, dealing with bills and paperwork
  • Help filling in forms and applying for benefits
  • Housing related support
  • Signposting and supporting to access other helpful organisations
  • Help to set up and settle into a new home or when returning home from hospital
  • Help to access interests and activities
  • Support to get out and about, meeting others
  • Building independence and confidence
  • Companionship and a safe space to talk

I can help with all sorts of other things too, please ask!
