Help in the home or garden, Personal care, Socialising, companionship and friendship, User led,
My name is Liz and I have set up Happy to Help Home Care Services to help provide the best help and support for adults in my local community.
I have over 20 years’ experience in the social care sector and have gained a lot of knowledge along the way. I am a qualified Social Worker and have worked with all age groups throughout my career. Most recently working with Age UK supporting those living with dementia.
Closer to home I have experience of supporting someone with Parkinson’s and dementia..
Services I offer:
Helping to look after my Dad and listening to him talking about his life, I understand how difficult it can be losing your independence and the importance of being there knowing that someone is coming in to help and support you with your daily life.
I know it might be hard to let a carer into your home and to share personal details. I guarantee your privacy and respect will be foremost in my work with you.
I am motivated, caring, and positive, I like to make a difference for people.
My passion is baking and believe a cuppa and a slice of cake can always make life feel that little bit better.
