Hello, my name is Michelle, and I run a small enterprise called Heart of Gold home help.  A service aimed at helping you to stay happy and healthy at home for as long as you wish to.

Over my 30 year career I have worked in a variety of roles in social care and the charity sector, and am now using that experience to deliver a ‘help at home’ service based on your needs and wishes.

I will bring my smiling face and positive personality to your home where we will do the things that you enjoy doing (these may be new interests or things that you haven’t done for a while), or you may need a hand to do things that you can no longer do alone.  I can offer you a supportive, trustworthy and reliable service and for your reassurance I have an enhanced DBS check and am fully insured.

Some examples of things we could do together are:

• Housework, laundry, bed changes, ironing
• Gardening and tidying up outside
• Shopping, meal preparation and cooking/baking
• Caring for your pets
• Socialising, arranging and attending appointments
• Decluttering and down-sizing your home
• Managing household correspondence
• Collecting prescriptions and reminding to take medication
• Spending time together doing things that you enjoy or having a cuppa and a chat

Please note: I am not currently offering a personal care service such as getting up, washing, toileting and dressing.

I’d love to hear from you to discuss any one-off, temporary or regular support that you may require.  Services are offered in the Hadleigh and surrounding area.
