My name is Linda, I have been working as a Care Navigator at a GP surgery for the last 5 years. Before this, I spent 21 years working for Suffolk Police, providing advice and support to people over the telephone.
I really enjoy meeting people face-to-face and getting to know patients and their families. I have particularly enjoyed being able to support people with a wide range of issues, not just those relating to health.
Outside of work, I’m married with two adult children and two grandchildren. I’m also a huge animal lover and have two dogs and a horse, life is always busy!

I offer friendly, practical support with everyday tasks – little things we often take for granted but may sometimes need a helping hand with.

Help with forms, phone calls, online shopping, budgeting, finding better utility or phone tariffs, shredding paperwork and decluttering.

Vacuuming, dusting, changing beds and laundry.

Help with baking or preparing a light meal.
Transport & Outings
I can take you to appointments, out for lunch, to visit friends or enjoy a day out.
Hobbies & Pets
Whether it’s finishing a jigsaw, walking the dog, a trip to the vets or helping with pet medication, I’m happy to lend a hand.
Companionship
Sometimes, all you need is someone to sit with, have a chat and share a cup of tea. I’m here for that too.
