Mel has supported my cousin with all aspects of care and management of her finances and appointments for ten years. She is an angel and super professional and patient. We would be lost without her empathy and professionalism - she is kind, caring, honest, and reliable.

Mel helped my elderly mother, who is severely sight impaired, to live at home independently for many years.
Mel has always been very attentive and observant and has quietly, efficiently and effectively supported my mother in a myriad of ways from mopping the kitchen floor to cutting and styling her hair. My mother and Mel get on incredibly well and have enjoyed lots of trips out to garden centres, cafes and church events. Mel is very bright, cheerful and chatty. She is great company, and my mother is always delighted to see her. Mel is extremely thoughtful and kind to the extent that she even sent my mother postcards when she went away on holiday.
For a long time, Mel enabled my mother to continue acting as Secretary of her Luncheon Club, a role that was very important to her, by accompanying her to meetings and ultimately taking the minutes on her behalf.
Latterly, as her health declined, Mel provided invaluable support prompting my mother to take her medication on a timely basis.
Mel is always highly professional and deeply caring.

I highly recommend Mel as a Carer and Companion. She has been caring for my Aunt , who is disabled for the last 5 years - I am her attorney, so I have overall responsibility for her. Mel gives a professional, well-organised service and reacts quickly to the needs of her client. Mel communicates clearly and effectively with me and gives me regular updates on any changes in her client's condition, as I live a distance away. She is also a kind, thoughtful person, and she is sensitive to her client's emotional and physical needs , so she has built up a good trusting relationship with my Aunt, who enjoys her company very much. Most importantly Mel is practical, experienced and efficient, so she can be relied upon to deal with any problems that arise. Thank you Mel .

Mel has been looking after my mum for more than 5 years. Mum is 94 years old and still managing to live independently thanks to Mel’s support, and additional support from two more private carers.
Inevitably as mum has got older she has become more frail and inevitably the health appointments had started to mount up. At first Mel was engaged a couple of days a week for companionship, often combined with taking mum to appointments. Mel was there all through Covid and thank goodness!
Five years on, Mel supports around mum’s medication, accompanies mum to appointments, helps her shower, takes her for coffee and generally does anything needed. She has also spotted several medical issues and made arrangements with health services for appropriate attention.
I have known Mel since school, so already know that she is a trained nurse, which gives me a huge amount of comfort and confidence that she is very well qualified for her job. She has been a carer for many years and is very professional in her processes and procedures, whilst being completely relatable and easy to deal with. We do payments by invoices and electronic payments monthly and day to day comms by WhatsApp and phone.
I can’t recommend Mel highly enough. I trust her completely with my mum and mum loves her!
