My name is Jackie Wood and I have lived in and around Frome for thirty five years. I have three grown up children and four grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with my family, going on outings and generally being out and about trying new things. I also have an interest in history, architecture and design. I have worked as a receptionist, sold houses, worked with and cared for Autistic and Aspergers teenagers and lastly Royal Mail.

Home Comforts is a friendly, caring and professional service to help people to achieve their daily activities in and around the home. I offer various services within Frome and the surrounding villages.

The types of services I provide are:

• A listening ear and companionship.
• Visits to the doctor, dentist, collection of prescriptions
• Driving to and bringing home from hospital, i.e. after an operation, help with settling in at home
• Help with shopping
• Help with home finances
• Housework
• Walking the dog, taking to the vets
• Travel to events and activities
