I have worked extensively with clients with dementia for over 10 years now.  I believe in helping make clients comfortable at home and enjoy helping them with eating, cooking, light cleaning and any general administrative tasks which need support. I am also happy to drive, taking my clients out or to see friends or to appointments.

I originally became a carer when my children were young and to fit it round their school day, but they have grown up now and yet I still love doing my job.

Over the years I have worked both with one to one and in small group settings,  thus developing a compassionate approach. I work hard to get to know my clients, so I can adapt our time together, to meet your needs and to ensure you enjoy and get the most out of our time together.

For me, care isn’t just about completing a task. It’s about building trust, creating meaningful relationships, helping my clients feel valued every day.  I aim to recognise the physical, social and spiritual needs of the individuals and their families.

I enjoy scrabble, visiting museums and art galleries, travelling and gardening.

I have an enhanced DBS, liability insurance and car insurance to enable my clients to be escorted to appointments/shopping trips.
