Hello, I am Rachel.

A couple of years ago my then nearly three year old daughter was diagnosed with leukemia. Through our journey we connected closely with the community and realised how kind and generous they were. After completing treatment this year, I have wanted to give back to the community that helped us in a way I only know know, and that is through helpful services under a business name that my daughter chose – Humbugs.

Working within the NHS for three and a half years, I noticed there were a lot of people who would benefit from additional services within the community whether they were young/old, vulnerable or able – no matter their background.

Humbugs will focus on providing an all round help at home service that will ensure our clients feel connected within the community and receive adaptability, professionalism and empathy; but we also want to be a little bit different and provide our services further. So, a portion of our profits will regularly go towards our Humbugs Projects to benefit the Forest  community through services and activities. This means, using our services such as:

– Organising / de-cluttering

– General housekeeping

– Social companionship

– Pet sitting

– Cooking / prepping meals

– Life admin e.g. mail, paperwork, diary etc.

Will all help our community projects for those around you in your community.
