At Hummingbird Home Helpers, we know how important it is to maintain your independence, allowing you to live comfortably in your home for as long as possible. Our aim is to make this an easier process, providing you with practical support so you can continue your day to day life to it’s fullest. Whether it is helping you with laundry and changing the beds, accompanying you to the supermarket or providing companionship to a loved one, while you have some respite, we tailor our services to each person’s individual needs.
Based in Woodbridge and covering the surrounding areas, we think consistency and continuity are the heart of building a trusting relationship, so we match each individual with a suitable supporter. All our supporters have provided a clear DBS check and been subject to referencing.
Hummingbird Home Helpers can help with the following:
Driving to the shops and assisting with shopping

Laundry and bed changes
“Odd jobs” around the home (like opening a jam jar!)

I have been a client for many years. I would be unable to live in my own home without their help. They help with on line problems, take me to appointments , help with shopping and housework. The staff have become friends. They have never let me down.

I was recommended by a friend to contact Hummingbird about care for my 93 year old aunt who is very independent and up to a point quite capable living on her own other than her short term memory that is not very good, she was forgetting to take her medication regularly and had burnt out a couple of pans cooking, she also had no car anymore.
Humming bird have been wonderful checking that she has taken her medication and preparing lunch for her, it is an enormous weight of my mind. They also take her out shopping, to appointments and little trips out on lovely days and even a little help in the garden and in the house if needed. She has two regular carers and two others who have filled in on occasions, they have all been really nice and importantly my aunt feels very happy with them and the help they give her . Initially she was quite reluctant not wanting help but now is so grateful realising that they are enabling her to continue to live in her own home and company on days that she sees no one else.
I wouldn’t hesitate recommending them to someone else needing help.

The care and support provided to my parents has been excellent. So much so that we asked HHH to provide an extra day.
