I have been working in the care industry for over 15 years. I began my care journey in domiciliary care, before heading into a care home where I progressed from a Care Assistant to CQC Approved Registered Manager, completing my Level 5 in Health and Social care during this progression.
After the birth of my son during COVID, I decided to return to domiciliary care, where it all began over 15 years ago and something I always hoped I would return to.
I am an empathetic, enthusiastic and caring individual who has good time management skills and is able to use my experience to adapt to various situations day to day. I have experience in caring for those with varying needs such as dementia, Parkinson’s, learning disabilities, end of life, physical impairment, autism, alcoholism, mental health, as well as rehab/recovery allowing people to return home as soon as possible following an operation/injury.
I am happy to undertake any duties that assist an individual to remain living in their own home, This includes but is not limited to: personal care, medication, companionship, shopping, outings, cleaning, assistance to attend medical appointments.
