I’m Chris and I will help you to live independently at home. I have many years’ experience caring for family members with disabilities. I am friendly, reliable and trustworthy. I currently serve a variety of clients, such as those with disabilities, living with the effects of a stroke and those with living at home with Alzheimer’s.

I’m passionate about your independence. As well as helping you around your home I can also help you get out and about, whether you need to attend appointments or want to enjoy a social life.

I can offer you support with:

Getting out and about. I can help you with your transport needs.
- Socialising is important and I can help you get to social events, for instance, to see a film or have a meal out,
- I can take you to and from healthcare appointments
Food Preparation. I am quite a good cook should you need a meal or snack preparing.
Shopping. I can shop for you or help you shop for yourself.
Using your phone or computer to use the internet. Maybe you’d like some help to your pay bills online or joining groups for shared interests.
Companionship. Whether it’s a chat over a coffee or some time out and about.
Pets. I love animals. If you need help looking after a pet at home, or have a dog that needs a walk.
Many other day to day needs you may have.

I hold an up to date enhanced Adult & Child DBS certificate and I am fully insured.

My current availability is :

Monday 9-11.30am
Tuesday 2pm – 4.30pm
Thursday 10am – 11.45am

Chris supports our son to/from his work placement every week. We have found him to have excellent communication, trustworthy and flexible. He also has a genuine interest in our son’s well-being.

Chris has truly been a refreshing ray of sunshine for my father who suffers with dementia and for us a family at whole. Always going above and beyond to be supportive and finding creative ways to engage with Dad and making his experiences memorable and top tier. Thanks for being a great friend and always updating us with the lovely pictures of what Dad is up to and sharing his joy.

I've been with Chris for 5 months. He has been brilliant, helping me around the house, and getting out into the community. We regularly go shopping, or for coffee. Chris is always on time and willing to help. It's changed my life having Chris help me out.
