Hi I’m John,

I have been involved in care for 14 years and I volunteer at Bouncing Back a group that support people living with dementia and their carers. I’m interested in people, and getting to know them.  I have seen lots of friends have to go into care homes and I am passionate about keeping people in their own home as long as possible. I also want to help improve people wellbeing, minds and mobility.

In my spare time I look after my grandson, I am passionate about my local community, and help run local events such as fundraising for charity.

I have seen people struggle to find care at the weekend, so I am offering my service Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The kind of support I offer includes:

  • Supporting people to continue doing their hobbies and interests
  • Taking people for a coffee
  • Driving people to appointments
  • A few small odd jobs around the home
  • Attending rugby matches!

Please contact me if you have any other ideas, I am up for trying any hobbies!

I welcome customers on direct payments and I am happy with the rate.

I support people with autism, older people and people living with dementia.
