Ask to see a provider’s portfolio

This symbol means that the enterprise leader has a portfolio (folder) containing all the elements that show how they meet our Doing It Right Standards. It will provide you with information on the way that they work, checks they have in place, policies, procedures, and more. You can ask to see it to help you make any care choices.

At “Julia’s Home Support”, I pride myself on providing a high standard of care ensuring consistency and peace of mind for my clients and their families.  I have a person-centred approach, tailoring help and support to the needs and personalities of the individual.  Compassion and empathy are a must for me.

I have a background in customer service, in which the needs of the customer were always my top priority, and I have carried that through to a career in care. I have qualifications in mental health first aid and safeguarding adults.  I have also completed the Care Certificate, which is a UK wide, standardised induction for health and social care staff and covers 15 vital aspects of care work.

My work ethic promotes reliability, respect and discretion. I can offer companionship and emotional support, housework, going shopping, collecting prescriptions, going to medical appointments, visiting friends and family, assistance with hobbies, going for walks, whatever makes life just that little bit easier and happier for my client.  I am highly motivated to assist clients with their every day lives, whilst always valuing their independence.

Enhanced DBS and public liability insurance held.
