Hi, I’m Ken.
I live in East Devon with my wife and family. I was an athlete for many years but due to injury I felt it was time for a change and joined the care sector. I love people and am good at coming alongside whilst allowing for individuality and encouraging independence. I believe it takes time to build trust and am very persistent with this, taking every opportunity to support a person’s good choices whilst not being afraid to challenge those not so great ones! My heart is to see people thrive and live the fullest life available to them, nothing is ever too much of an issue and my laid back manner fosters an environment in which relationships can flourish and people can grow in confidence which helps them to achieve their goals.
I can assist with:
Enabling support
Personal care
Breaks for families including overnights
Support to engage in sport/exercise
Medication assistance
Companionship
Transport to appointments
Happy to discuss other needs – just ask!
