Hi, I’m Laura.

I have lived in Suffolk most of my life, with some time spent in East Sussex and New Zealand. Since 2002, I have worked in care and nursing, with experience in learning disability supported living, travelling companion care, in-home nursing, hospice-at-home, and community nursing.

More recently, I have renovated two of my own properties, developing practical, hands-on skills that complement my support work.

I started Laura’s Happy Home Support after seeing how everyday tasks can become overwhelming. When I moved in with my grandmother, it became clear she was struggling to manage her home — from organisation and bills to maintenance, appointments, and caring for her pets. This showed me how many people face similar challenges, particularly without family nearby.

I offer flexible, personalised support on a weekly, monthly, ad-hoc, or occasional overnight basis.

Services Include:

• Light household organisation and decluttering
• Helping to keep the home safe and comfortable
• Seasonal organisation and preparing for visitors

• Organising home maintenance and repairs
• Sourcing and liaising with trusted tradespeople
• Arranging quotes, appointments, and overseeing work

• Help with bills, paperwork, and forms
• Organising appointments and accessing services

• Attending appointments for reassurance
• Shopping, errands, and friendly companionship

• Pet care arrangements and short visits

My goal is to make everyday life easier, giving you or your loved ones peace of mind while maintaining independence at home.

I am fully insured and DBS checked annually.
