Would you like to learn to sew but don’t know a thread from a needle threader, a seam ripper from your seam allowance.

Then, Lilibet Sews is for you!

Lessons are relaxed, fun and planned with consideration for each individual person’s abilities, needs and wishes.

Do you have difficulty leaving your own home due to disabilities, illness or lacking in confidence, then Lilibet Sews is ideal as she will come to you.

Lilibet Sews provide personalised one-to-one lessons in the comfort of your own home and you will learn:

  •  Choose correct threads and needles
  • How to thread a sewing machine
  • Gain confidence with your sewing machine
  • Sew a straight line
  • Read and interpret a pattern
  • Lay a pattern on pieces of fabric and cut out
  • Tips about sewing pattern pieces
  • Complete small sewing projects such as tote bags, cushions (with or without zips), coin purse
  • Hem items such as trousers, skirts or blouses.

Don’t have a sewing machine?  

No worries – Lilibet will bring one with her!

One-to-one lessons in your own home last approximately 2 hours – prices available on request.
