Reviews of Lilibet Sews

I’ve just finished 4 lessons with Liz at Lilibet Sews and honestly can’t recommend her enough. I went in completely new to sewing, couldn't even turn the machine on. Four lessons and I've not only learnt a lot about how to use my machine and lots of tips, but I've also managed to sew a tote bag, make up bag and cushion cover with pocket. All under Liz's expert tuition! Liz is incredibly patient, explains everything so clearly, and makes you feel completely at ease. She’s great company too, which makes the lessons genuinely enjoyable. If you’re thinking about learning to sew, definitely book with Liz. She’s brilliant!

Rachael, Thank you so much for sharing such a thoughtful review! It’s been an absolute joy to see you progress from switching on your machine for the first time to creating beautiful projects like your tote bag, make‑up bag, and reading cushion cover. Your enthusiasm and determination have been inspiring, and I’m delighted you’ve enjoyed the lessons as much as I’ve enjoyed teaching them. Knowing you felt at ease and had fun along the way means the world to me. I’m so proud of what you’ve achieved in just four sessions, and I can’t wait to see where your sewing journey takes you next!
