It will provide you with information on the way that they work, checks they have in place, policies, procedures, and more. You can ask to see it to help you make any care choices.

Hello, I’m Claire
Little Ray of Claire supports people to live their happiest and best life. I’m warm, friendly, positive and cheerful, and really want to brighten people’s day…
Over the past 7 years, I’ve worked with people to improve their health and wellbeing. I work in a person-centred way, putting the person first and really listening to what their needs and wishes are. I support people so they’re independent, confident and happy in their home; making lives easier and less stressful.
I’m a good listener, with experience in supporting people who struggle with mental health. I’m happy to support people with dementia, those who are neurodivergent, or have learning disabilities, or autism.
I treat people as individuals, with respect, dignity, care and compassion.
About me…
I’m a highly organised person, who enjoys sorting, cleaning, and decluttering.
I don’t have much spare time, as I’ve spent the last few years renovating my house/garden.
I LOVE cooking, batch-cooking, and prepping food. I enjoy running, going for nice walks with my dog (Mavis), and shopping (yes, even food shopping)!
I love a game of something like Monopoly, Scrabble or UNO.
I offer the following services…
I also have…
And training/qualifications in…
I welcome customers on Direct-Payments and I’m happy with the rate.

I am an anxious person and don't really find it easy to socialise. Claire is lovely. I do look forward to her visiting. We laugh over coffees. I am proud to call Claire a friend.

Claire has been a real blessing. Wether it's popping to the shops with my mum or finding activities to get involved in. Friendly. Conscientious. A good friend to have.

Claire is fantastic! Always polite and on time. She immediately puts you at ease and you feel like you can just be yourself. She incredibly helpful even when I have strange requests like to help power wash the car. She funny and down to earth and is great with our animals. I would 100% recommend her. Her help has been life saving as I was panicking my partner would have to take time off work to help me when the council told us we would be going into direct payment instead of them paying directly to a company. I think this way is much better as Claire actually gets fair pay unlike when at a company over 80% would usually go to admin staff and not the care worker themselves. Definitely best choice we made hiring her.

Claire helps me mostly with practical paperwork tasks. I'm visually impaired and have some mobility issues. Plus anxiety and depression.
Claire listens well, understands the requirements and challenges. (She does great to do lists/ action plans)
I don't find her judgemental. I enjoy her company. She is solution focused and celebrates the little wins and positive outcomes.
Sometimes she drives me to appointments. She drives very well. I get anxious in a car.
When we are out in a public space I find her to be observant and considerate of my needs.
She's present and client focused when on visit ( other carers may be distracted by phone or clock watching)
I've had various carers over the last 2 years.
I find Claire to be proactive, positive, adaptable, respectful, professional, encouraging/motivating.
Do I have any criticisms?/ Room for improvement?
I'd like more of her time. She's always looking for the next thing to do. Sometimes I can't keep up! But she's respectful of that.
For my needs, she's pretty near perfect.
