  • Creating calm and manageable living spaces.

Pre- Discharge/Home Readiness

Many hospital discharges are delayed or unsafe because patients’ homes aren’t ready for recovery. Our pre-discharge home preparation service makes homes clean, safe, and comfortable. This reduces hospital delays, prevents readmissions and gives carer peace of mind knowing that their loved one is coming back to a comfortable and secure home.

  • Deep cleaning of main areas. (bedroom, bathroom and kitchen)
  • Decluttering.
  • Sanitising frequently touched surfaces.
  • Clean bedding and essential setup.
  • Identifying and removing tripping hazards.
  • Organising furniture and everyday items for ease of movement.
  • Check heating, water and electricity are working.
  • Fridge restock.

Home Recovery and Carer Support

Many older people struggle after hospital discharge, and carers often feel exhausted keeping up with recovery needs. Our home recovery and carer support provides gentle practical help and companionship and gives carers time to rest.

  • Errands and shopping.
  • Light domestic help.
  • Meal preparations.
  • Companionship visits.
  • Weekly progress feedback to families if requested.

Lydia looked after my sister Margaret for years until she was aged 90. Lydia looked after the house then became Margaret’s much loved and loving carer. I have no hesitation in recommending Lydia for her ability, warmth and generosity of spirit, especially when times are challenging as they were for the last months of my sister’s life.

Lydia is very professional and extremely helpful, she goes above and beyond and is thorough in any jobs assigned. She has a calming presence and very friendly, her communication is always clear and straight to the point.
Lydia has always been flexible with me and is great with my children and animals. I really couldn't ask for a better PA, she is a great asset to my household and helps support me as a Mum with illness to keep on top of things and manage the household.
I'm extremely greatful for her help and support 🙏

Thank you for your kind and thoughtful words Mary. It truly means a lot to me. It has been a pleasure supporting you and your family and I'm grateful for the trust you've placed in me. Being able to bring calm, organisation and support to homes especially during challenging time is exactly why I do what I do.
