Registered Occupational Therapist providing a Service for people living with dementia. Specialising in the Home Based Cognitive Rehabilitation Programme which is delivered once a week over 6-8 weeks, with continued support thereafter. Programme teaches skills to Care partner/loved one to promote their role as a co-therapist.
This type of intervention can reduce some of the more negative symptoms of dementia and carer stress. It is an evidence based, early intervention to support people with mild to moderate dementia.
I also offer a range of other interventions and support specifically for people living with dementia or cognitive decline.
