Marcia’s Sewing Workshop is set up for complete beginners to intermediary sewers, learning to thread a sewing machine, winding a bobbin, selecting stitches for a simple seam to sewing the perfect french seam with lots of opportunity to practice techniques to build confidence and experience into finally a lovely finished garment. You will be able to choose from a wide selection of commercial paper patterns, a selection of free fabrics will be available and threads, plus you’re able to bring your own machine and sewing tools. If you wish you will be able to learn to make small alterations to patterns or alterations to a favourite garment for the perfect fit.
