Hi I’m Sam,
I have been working as a mental health support worker for over 3 years and I enjoy making a positive difference to people’s overall quality of life. I particularly like providing emotional support and advocacy as well as helping people to access the community, socialise and pursue hobbies/special interests.
I have a BSc 1st class honours in Psychology, the complete care certificate, public liability insurance, substantial experience and relevant work placements such as at the CTAD (complex trauma and dissociation) Clinic
In my spare time I enjoy gardening and baking, and I have two dogs and two cats who keep me busy!
The kind of services I offer are:
Companionship
Advocacy
Light housework
Light gardening
Decorating
Meal prep
Emotional support
I welcome customers on direct payments, and I am happy with the rate.
I have worked with a wide range of clients including older people, neurodivergent individuals and people with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, personality disorders, autism, and ADHD.
If you would like to ask any questions please feel free to send me an email or text.
