Mental Health Resource

“I like the mixed groups and staff understand my mental health. I’ve been receiving support at the Hub and I’m extremely grateful to the staff. I don’t know where I’d be without the Hub.”

What is Mental Health Resource?

Mental Health Resource is an award-winning, local mental health charity, based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent which provides safe spaces and person-centred mental health support to people in our community to improve their mental wellbeing. Our friendly and professional staff provide free and non-judgemental, person-centred care and our projects are designed to make people feel supported, valued and connected.

By focusing on our clients’ individual needs, we can work closely with them to develop a personal progress plan based on their goals. There is no barrier for clients to access our support; they can either self-refer or be referred by a GP or other organisation and clients can access our projects as soon as they would like to.  People are welcome to come along, meet others and feel part of a community.

Specifically, we provide:

  • Varied wellbeing activities to suit all interests including needlecraft, creative writing and art groups.
  • A safe space to talk on a 1-2-1 basis.
  • Drop-in sessions  and a lunch club at our centre in Tunbridge Wells
  • Peer support groups to facilitate engagement with the community, in Tunbridge Wells, Southborough, Paddock Wood and Edenbridge
