Ask to see a provider’s portfolio

This symbol means that the enterprise leader has a portfolio (folder) containing all the elements that show how they meet our Doing It Right Standards. It will provide you with information on the way that they work, checks they have in place, policies, procedures, and more. You can ask to see it to help you make any care choices.

This provider has yet to add availability information.

Companionship and social support means… having someone reliable alongside you for the parts of everyday life that take more out of you than they should.

Hi, I’m Samantha. I offer practical, everyday support to neurodivergent, chronically ill and disabled women across Salisbury.

Maybe that’s you. Or maybe you’re reading this on behalf of someone you love, trying to find them a bit more room to breathe.

Either way, you’re in the right place.

My support is practical, flexible, and led by the person in front of me, rather than by any fixed idea of what ‘functioning’ should look like, and it flexes with your capacity rather than expecting the same version of you every time.

I’m calm, patient, and deeply empathetic, with autism as my lived experience. I’ve worked as a carer for the British Nurses Association and trained as a chef, so you can be sure you’re getting support from someone experienced.

  • COMPANIONSHIP – Conversation and company, at home or out and about.
  • DAY OUT & ABOUT – The garden centre, a walk, an appointment, the cinema etc.
  • HELPING WITH TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS – I can help you plan, as well as accompany you, on your journey
  • PRACTICAL SUPPORT AT HOME – Light domestic help, tidying, organising, laundry.
  • MEAL PREPARATION – Proper meals, made the way that works for you.
  • SHOPPING & ERRANDS – Collecting the weekly shop, picking up prescriptions, running errands.
  • LIFE ADMIN – Emails, paperwork, structuring your day, the things that are easy to fall behind on.
