Hello, my name is Linda, I created Miss Sunshine Home Support to offer a wide variety of support to adults in their homes. I love communicating and connecting with people at all stages of life. I have been supporting individuals for the past three decades: as a nursery assistant, housing officer, support worker, teacher of basic computer skills to seniors and a yoga teacher.
I believe that providing effective care is truly an art. Figuring out the best ways to work with a person’s unique nature and needs may involve asking questions, assessing situations, offering options, following the instructions of clients and their families and acting independently. Everyone is special and needs to be shown respect and treated with dignity.
I can help you with planning and preparing meals, cleaning, decluttering and basic gardening. I can support you with shopping and admin (paper and digital). Show you gentle stretching, movement and relaxation techniques. Help you to get out into nature locally or in your garden. We could do arts and crafts together. I can attend appointments with you and help with pet care – walk your dog or taking your furry friend to appointments.
We can do these things together or I can do them for you.
