I am a sole trader working as an independent adult support practitioner in the Eden area of Cumbria supporting neurodivergent adults and those with a learning disability.
With a focus on support, development and outcomes I provide one-to-one support tailored to the person’s needs. Developing life skills, independence, communication and confidence while supporting learning, routines and community access. Working towards goals (EHCP outcomes or support plans where relevant).
An example of the support offer may include travel training, working on strategies to support anxiety, supporting volunteering and/or work experience placements, building resilience and working on dealing with emotions. The programme of support is very much tailored to the person’s needs.

I am a conscientious and professional practitioner with extensive experience supporting young people and adults across education, community and third-sector settings. Highly skilled in building effective partnerships with families, employers, providers and local authorities across Cumbria. Delivering structured, person-centred support that promotes independence, life skills and wellbeing.
