Newton Support Services

Availability information last updated: 24th October, 2025

Hi, Geraint,

I’ve worked in drug and alcohol services for 10 years and have cared for my elderly mother for 5 years, so I have a lot of experience. I enjoy being able to give something back to the community. I want to be able to help people live their best lives, whether that is finding someone accommodation, or cooking a Sunday roast, sometimes it is the smaller things that make a difference and I see my role as spotting them, and making them happen.

In a previous life I was a chef for 20 years, so there isn’t much I can’t cook, and I am up for a challenge if you find something I haven’t made before!!

In my spare time, I am a massive music fan. I own over 25 guitars, and regularly go to gigs. I love rock music, but I listen to anything! I also gave a lovely cat called Martin Davies!

I offer a wide range of services listed below, however, please give me a call if you have an idea:

  • Companionship
  • Light housework
  • Supporting people to appointments
  • Shopping
  • Meal preparation
  • Help with hobbies and interests
  • Help with form filling, and general living tasks

I have a DBS and public liability insurance

I welcome direct payments and I am happy with the rate.

I work with people with substance misuse issues, older people, people with neurodivergence.

Areas: Newton, Chester, Hoole, Handbridge, Upton, Ellesmere Port, Boughton
