I’m Nick and I retired from mental health nursing after nearly 30 years, in more recent years working with people with a dementia and their families/carers.
During this time, I have seen the challenges people have faced in remaining independent in themselves and at home and the changes that can be made to enable their confidence, independence and safety.
My aims are to support making the changes and adaptations needed to help keep your house your home. This could be raising a step, fitting handrails/grabrails in those areas to keep you mobile and safe. It could also be moving your bedroom downstairs or repositioning furniture to enable you safe access around your home.
To best take care of our homes, we have to maintain our house and gardens and I can work with you to undertake this in the most efficient, cost effective way.
I understand the difficulties with strangers coming into your house and excessive noise and disruption. I would work with you to undertake any work in the best interests of you or the person you care for.
If I feel a professional trades person or agency are more appropriate to provide the service (e.g plumber, electrician, O.T or O.T Mobile Assessment Unit) I will advise accordingly.
Areas: Upton upon Severn, Malvern, Pershore, Evesham, Worcester, Droitwich and surrounding areas.
