I have almost 40 years’ working in the care industry, starting with volunteering at a local care home at the age of 13. I have hands on experience working with people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, re-ablement, people living with dementia and people generally requiring support to undertake their tasks of daily living. I have a current enhanced DBS. I gained a BSc (Hons) in Health and Social Care with the Open University in 2011 and a post graduate diploma in Dementia studies in 2024.
