Nyankonton Trust Foundation is a charity committed to promoting social inclusion and empowering marginalised individuals. “Nyankonton,” meaning “Rainbow” in Twi, symbolizes hope, diversity, and the promise of brighter days ahead. Our mission is to break down barriers and build pathways to dignity, opportunity, and inclusion. 

Our Core Areas of Work: 

  1. Education & Skills – Supporting access to core education (English, maths, science) and vocational training (e.g. beauty, wellness) for personal and professional growth. 
  2. Mental Health & Well-being – Offering resources, workshops, to strengthen emotional resilience and support mental health. 
  3. Community Engagement – Hosting outreach programmes and community projects that promote connection and inclusion. 
  4. Advocacy & Awareness – Raising awareness of social issues and providing guidance to those in need of support, promoting the rights of all individuals and ensuring fair, respectful treatment.
  5.  Employment Support – Delivering career advice, job readiness coaching, and entrepreneurship pathways. 
  6.  Access to Services – Assisting individuals in navigating education, healthcare, and social systems. 
  7. Economic Participation – Promoting fair work, and job opportunities. 
  8.  Social & Cultural Inclusion – Creating spaces for cultural engagement and a sense of  belonging.

We support people experiencing unemployment, discrimination, health struggles, housing issues, family breakdowns, and reintegration from the justice system.
