Parkway Arts CIC

Please contact us directly to discuss availability as this can change week to week depending on what courses or projects are running.

Based in Didcot, Parkway Arts CIC is a community-focused art studio dedicated to making creativity accessible, inclusive, and genuinely transformative. Rooted in the belief that art is not a luxury but a vital part of human wellbeing, Parkway Arts offers a welcoming space where people of all abilities can reconnect with their creativity.

Specialising in hand-built ceramics, mosaics, and mindful craft practices, Parkway Arts provides a calm, supportive environment designed to help people slow down, find focus, and experience the therapeutic benefits of making. Whether someone is picking up clay for the first time or returning to a long-lost creative passion, the studio offers a place to learn, create, and belong.

As a Community Interest Company (CIC), Parkway Arts exists for community benefit rather than private profit. Any surplus is reinvested into the studio to expand access, subsidise memberships, and develop partnerships that support those who might otherwise be excluded. The organisation is actively working towards collaborations with local services to support mental health and reduce isolation through creativity.

More than just a studio, Parkway Arts is building a creative community. Through workshops, memberships, and informal social sessions, it brings people together in a way that fosters connection, confidence, and a shared sense of purpose. In a world that often feels fast-paced and disconnected, Parkway Arts offers something increasingly rare: time, space, and permission to simply make.
