PIGMENT is a social enterprise that grows organic natural dyes in South Devon, alongside supporting people with additional needs into training and meaningful roles in community.
AIMS:
To support young adults with additional needs into meaningful roles within their community
Improved self-esteem, increased wellbeing and gained work skills
To welcome participants into the fabric of the business; to involve them in decision-making and sharing the businesses’ successes
To promote nose-to-tail textiles. To be mindful in all activities, considering waste, resources and local economies
To celebrate neurodiversity within the workplace
What we offer:
A Vocational Development Programme, every Monday, 10-3, from May to October
8-week rolling work experience placements through the Access To Work legislation
Bespoke enrichment activity sessions for alternative education and neurodiverse
groups
