A compassionate and friendly female carer looking for caring opportunities in and around Stowmarket. Offering personal care, light housework, assistance with day to day activities, companionship and much more!
I hold my care certificate, full enhanced DBS, and a first class degree in Special Educational Needs & Disability Studies. I found the care industry 3 years ago and have such a passion for it. I’m fully trained in areas such as fire safety, dignity and conditions such as dementia.
I really love being a carer. I am looking for day time hours caring.

I cannot express how much joy Pollyanna has brought to our lives. My mum was really reluctant to have any sort of help, but Pollyanna’s kind and genuine nature has won over even the most stubborn of customers…so much so that mum now excitedly looks forward to Pollyanna’s visits & whatever activities or outings they may have planned. As the primary contact for my mum’s wellbeing, I am grateful to know that mum is in safe hands on the days that Pollyanna visits, and I love receiving updates on their adventures together. I honestly cannot recommend her highly enough.

Polly joined our team to help look after my Mum who will be 89 this year. We feel very lucky. Polly is creative, kind and very patient. Mum has dementia and I honestly think Polly has made Mum's life a little bit better! She is very reliable, prompt, competent and trustworthy and I would recommend her 100%.

Polly has been visiting my 97 year old aunt for 2 months now. My aunt has dementia and can no longer concentrate on reading and doing crosswords. Polly has been asked to provide support to keep her mentally active. Polly has introduced my aunt to jigsaws and got her writing again. My aunt always loved dogs but can no longer care for them. She still enjoys being with dogs so we have asked Polly to take her dogs in with her to provide dog therapy. This has worked very well. My aunt now recognises Polly and knows why she is there. Both Polly and my aunt enjoy the visits.

Polly is kind hearted, she can work on her own initiative, she is punctual, sweet natured, efficient, nothing phases her, she goes above and beyond what is asked of her, she is good company and a highly skilled carer with valuable experience. She works well independently and as part of a team. What she doesn't know she is always willing to learn. She has good ideas and suggestions and makes this client a happy bunny who looks forward to her visits. A carer who really does care - and they don't always!
