Rachel’s Home Help and Enabling Service

Availability information last updated: 25th July, 2025

Hi!  My name is Rachel and I have had many years (30+) of experience in the caring field, working in nursing/residential homes, hospitals, working with different teams in the community ranging from Mobility Rehab Therapy, UCR and the Stroke Team and most recently for Palliative Care in the community, so I have a wide range of knowledge and experience in different settings and different patients needs.

I absolutely love my role as a support worker and thrive on making someone’s life a better one being it just by having companionship, going out for day trips, baking, doing exercise, shopping trips…… anything that will aid someone’s life to be a better and fuller one and encourage independence, I specialise in older peoples care only.

I am happy to help or assist with personal care if needed, household chores, shopping and other errands, meal preparation, pet care ( I am a big fan of dogs!), day trips and activities, appointment chaperone, companionship, respite for families, correspondence and admin and anything else that assists every day living.

I am fully Insured and have an Enhanced DBS.

If you would like to contact me and discuss what you may need, I will be more than happy to listen and see if I can help you.

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and hope to here from you soon.
