Thrive Hive – a Reaching (North Staffs) programme

This provider has yet to add availability information.

Reaching (North Staffs) is a non-profit organisation that offers adults a variety of services across North Staffordshire.

Thrive Hive is our free programme which supports with housing, benefits, food and energy provision, and mental health referrals – we pride ourselves on being responsive and aim to assist with enquiries super quickly! Thrive Hive can also support with isolation and loneliness – our ‘Orange Pages’ project is a Human:Human directory, providing people with information on services and resources in their local area. If you’re looking to find out what’s going on near you, our Thrive Hive team can help.

Our ‘KindLine’ telephone befriending service offers adults 18+ regular telephone calls, aimed at building relationships and supporting individuals back into the community .  We also host 5 free social groups in locations across North Staffordshire – Biddulph, Leek, Hanley, Longton and Newcastle-under-Lyme.

All of our free services also have volunteer roles available – please get in touch if you’re interested in finding out more.

Reaching provides services under a clear value structure of:

Acceptance, Relationship, Compassion, Growth, Authenticity, Empowerment

What the people we have supported say about us:

Your support has been life-changing. It’s having someone you can trust, just being there, having someone on my side has honestly kept me going.

I had given up until I spoke with you. You fought for me and invested in me. You were patient when other’s weren’t interested. You were amazing.

I cannot thank you enough, you went over and above your remit. Without your support I do not think we would have had such a positive outcome. Thank you so much.
