Rhythm of Life Yoga

My training allows me to work well with everyone, from the newest of beginners, to those with more experience who are seeking guidance for the development of their practice.

What type of yoga do you teach? The way that I guide people in yoga is very much informed and inspired by the traditional teachings. I draw influences from several styles, and my own approach has naturally evolved over the years.

I bring a broad perspective on yoga, having practiced with a diverse range of teachers myself, by combining what I feel is most relevant, thereby giving the most benefits in a synergistic way. Most people discover it is easily accessible and profoundly beneficial.

You can expect just the right amount of physical challenge, infused with ease and stability, followed by a sense of deep relaxation, which allows us to cultivate a steady mind.

I’ve been practicing yoga for over 25 years and teaching group classes since 2016. All of my yoga teacher training was completed at the Himalayan Institute, a well-respected leader amongst yoga and meditation retreat centers in America.

In 2019, I qualified as a Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) which means that I work with people individually on all kinds of health issues by applying a personalised approach, and using yoga as a healing modality to help support their health concerns.

I call it the Rhythm of Life because that’s what we are really tuning into in order to energize our health, primarily through breath and movement, combined with appreciation of subtle energy, ultimately giving us access to dwell in our own sense of harmony with the world around us.
