Ask to see a provider’s portfolio

This symbol means that the enterprise leader has a portfolio (folder) containing all the elements that show how they meet our Doing It Right Standards. It will provide you with information on the way that they work, checks they have in place, policies, procedures, and more. You can ask to see it to help you make any care choices.

Hi, I am Sam. I’m a self-employed independent carer. I’ve had 10 years’ working in the care industry.

I don’t see it as a job. I believe that care shouldn’t be rushed and take time above all to make it person centred.

With each client, individual needs meet their routine and help them to stay connected to the community, most of all keeping them connected to their memories and hobbies, as well as keeping connected to family and friends.

I work well by myself  and I have  experience working with a multidiscipline team.

I have great feedback from their families I’ve worked for and great references.

In my spare time I love being outdoors with my kids and dogs, swimming, gardening and I love history and finding out about interesting facts.

The services I offer include:

Personal Care

House keeping

Companionship

Prepare meals

Shopping

Walk the dogs

Please call if you have an idea that isn’t listed.

Self funded.
