Availability information last updated: 16th February, 2026

I pride myself on providing a caring and compassionate service, essentially how you would want your own family looked after.

I am very experienced in all aspects of care and support. I am fully qualified and have a DBS and all necessary qualifications and insurances.

I have previously worked in the NHS on a palliative care ward and a rehab ward, have experience in care homes, and provided many years of community care for people who need help to live a good and fulfilled life, this might be by helping you with any of the below:

  • Companionship, sitting service I can stay with you for a few hours while your family member goes out.
  • Meal preparation, I can reheat a meal or cook from scratch, I do a mean poached eggs on toast.
  • Grocery shopping, I can take your list to fetch your food or you are welcome to come along.
  • Outings, fancy a meal out or maybe a wander around the local garden or shopping centre.
  • I can help you to get up and ready for the day by helping with a wash, bath or shower call, wash dry and even style your hair.
  • Light housework duties, washing up the dishes, vacuuming, dusting, stripping the bed and putting clean bedding on.
  • Sitting service provider for end of life or palliative clients.
  • Supporting you to call the doctors, taking you to appointments, ordering or collecting prescriptions.

Sharon looked after my dad when mum struggled and subsequently when my mum went in hospital . She was part of a team of carers and family who worked together .
Sharon probably drew the short straw as she had to get him up in the morning often when he was grumpy and sometimes a bit off with her . She took all this in her stride and coped with washing dressing showering with a lovely kind friendly professional manner . Later she took on more hours so took dad on visits out and pub lunches and he looked forward to these . Sadly my dad’s mobility and dementia has made it difficult for family to look after him at nights and he will shortly go into care with mum . A sad time for us all and Sharon was a great reassurance to my sister and I that we are doing the right thing .
I’d like to thank her from bottom of my heart as she made a sad time bearable and often brought a smile to his face . One in a million xxx

Sharon took care of my father for 18 months who is struggling with dementia. Sharon went above and beyond what I expected - especially when times became more challenging and it was good to have peace of mind, knowing that he was safe and supported when I could not be there. I can't praise her enough. Thank you for taking care of my dad. X

Thanks Lee your welcome dad and I had some lovely times out to eat and walks around the country parks together. Dad was one of my first clients and I fondly remember the fun we had together on our adventures out and about. Take care of each other.

Sharon has been nothing but incredible. Sharon helped our family with my partner, who has complex dementia, and I know better than anyone how difficult it could be at times to manage the behaviours that come as a part of that level of dementia. Sharon, however, came in and provided my partner with a safe demeanour, patience, care, love, understanding, and all the other positive words you can think of. Not only was she extremely professional and caring when it came to working with my partner, she was also there for all of us as a family. She was there to support us in supporting my partner outside of visits and she always came in with a huge smile on her face, ensuring she gave my partner the best, best care. My partner took to Sharon in such a positive way, a way we haven’t seen in a long time. The relationship built between them both ensured that Sharon could provide the individualised care my partner needed. Sharon really helped us all, and for that, we can’t thank her enough. Sharon, you are an absolute star, and me and my granddaughter have the upmost appreciation for your support during a very gloomy and uncertain time. Thank you, The Hand’s x

It is with deepest sadness that my mum has recently passed away.
My mum had Sharon as her carer for over 18 months.
To assist with personal care needs and meal preparation. Sharon also did a cleaning call for mum fortnightly on a Wednesday.
Sharon is a fabulous carer and was also a friend for mum.
Sharon always displayed dedication, respectfulness, patience, empathy, reliability, sensitivity, understanding and a genuine desire to help mum.
Going above and beyond and consistently exceeding the requirements of her role.
My brother had only met Sharon once and straight away he thought Sharon was brilliant with mum. So caring and understood mum and mum’s ways down to a tea.
Sharon always provided wonderful care for mum.
I’m so glad my mum had Sharon as her carer for over 18 months. To enable mum to have continuity of care.
Sharon would always message me if she had any concerns with mum. If mum was not so good or seemed unwell at the care calls.
So I knew mum was in safe hands with Sharon’s care calls.
I can honestly say if I get to reach my mum’s age of 87 years young and I need care.
I would like to think there would be someone out there like Sharon.
She is Simply The Best.
So thank you Sharon once again for all that you did for my very special and beautiful mum xx

After such a tough end of 2024 trying to make decisions of where to look for care for an independent lady of 96yrs to give support and found Sharon, she is a breath of fresh air she's AMAZING we couldn't have made a better choice to look after my M in law, Sharon provides excellent support not just with mum but helped me to find a little team of ladies so I have to say how grateful we are nothing is to much trouble and goes above and beyond her responsibilities and the trust and dedication she gives makes you feel at ease knowing that mum is looked after.
Sharon shares something special with mum and the giggles they both share is everything Thank you !!

Sharon goes above & beyond daily to provide the best care possible for my Mum (aged 82 with Alzheimer’s).
She is professional, knowledgeable, kind and extremely trustworthy.
She has not only supported mum daily with personal hygiene, dressing, cooking & a weekly social outing but also provides our family with daily updates & guidance meaning she has played a key role in our family being able to keep mum living in her own home.
Sharon is amazing 💗

My Dad has moderate dementia and sight loss. I got in touch with Community Catalysts when my mum died last year and my Dad was struggling with everyday tasks and loneliness. The Carer comes twice a week and takes him out for meals and does tasks around the house for him. My Dad liked her straight away. She is very attentive and interested in how he is doing and communicates with me regularly. She just knows what jobs need doing and is very proactive around the house. The care she gives is invaluable to both my Dad and myself, and I always know that he is in safe hands.

When you have someone in your life who is as precious as your mum you need to find someone who you can completely trust. Someone who goes above and beyond any expectations of what a carer is. Someone who your mum adores and feels completely comfortable with. Someone who has so much knowledge that every day you learn something new. Someone who supports your family both in looking after your precious mum but also who mentally supports you when things get really tough. Someone who never lets you down. Someone who is always on time. Someone who has an amazing personality and makes your mum laugh. Someone who will sing and dance with your mum. Someone who cries with you when the difficult day comes that your mum has to go into a care home.

This is Sharon.

Sharon has cared for mum, who has Alzheimer’s, for over 6 months now. The care and natural empathy she has shown is amazing. She goes above and beyond in everything she does. From personal hygiene and care to household chores. We feel totally at ease leaving our much loved mum in the very capable hands of Sharon. We cannot recommend her highly enough, to anyone thinking of any sort of care for their loved ones.

Sharon has been looking after Mum for just over 6 months and has been absolutely brilliant. She has been helping with Mum's personal care and cleaning around the house. Mum has dementia and can be a little feisty at times and Sharon knows exactly how to win her round. She always treats Mum with care and dignity and has a little giggle with her along the way. Sharon always messages me to let me know that Mum's OK or if she has any concerns. I couldn't cope without her.

You will not find anybody better.
