SEND THE HELP CIC

This provider has yet to add availability information.

SEND the Help CIC is a community interest company based in Barnstaple, North Devon. We support children and young people (ages 8–16) who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), anxiety, or other barriers to learning. We also provide guidance and advocacy for their families.

Our services include:

  • Enabling and mentoring – 1:1 or small group sessions to build confidence, independence, and social skills.
  • Alternative Provision / EOTAS packages – commissioned by schools or Devon County Council to support learners unable to attend mainstream settings.
  • Parent advocacy and workshops – practical support with EHCP processes, school anxiety, and navigating SEND services.
  • Preparing for Adulthood pathways – life skills, confidence building, and opportunities to re-engage with education, college, or the community.

We combine professional qualifications with lived experience as SEND parents, ensuring our approach is both compassionate and legally informed. We work closely with families, schools, and local services to achieve positive, measurable outcomes.

Accessing the service:

Families can self-refer, schools and local authorities can commission us directly, and we also accept Direct Payments. Services can be tailored as hourly sessions, blocks of support, or structured packages.
