Availability information last updated: 6th July, 2026

Hello, I’m Esther,  and we provide  a community support service dedicated to helping adults live safely, independently and confidently within their own homes and local communities.

My background is in healthcare and social care, where I have worked in a variety of roles supporting people with diverse needs. Throughout my career I have gained experience in delivering compassionate, person-centred support, promoting independence, safeguarding vulnerable adults and working alongside families and healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

At Shell-ter we believe that everyone deserves to feel valued, respected and connected. We understand that maintaining independence is about much more than practical support it’s about building trusted relationships, reducing loneliness and enabling people to continue enjoying life on their own terms.

We provide flexible community support including:

• Companionship visits
• Welfare checks
• Shopping support
• Appointment escorts
• Community access and social activities
• Wellbeing and independence support

Every person is unique, which is why we tailor our support to each individual’s wishes, goals and lifestyle. Whether you need occasional assistance or regular weekly support, we work with you to create a personalised service that meets your needs.

We operate in accordance with the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Kent Adult Safeguarding Procedures, and UK GDPR. Our team is trained in safeguarding, health and safety, lone working, equality and diversity, and person-centred care.

We proudly offer reliable, professional and compassionate support that helps people remain independent, active and connected to their communities.
