Hello, I’m Bronwen (B) and I aim to provide daytime respite care for relatives caring for a loved one with palliative care needs.. With over 40 years’ experience in care and nursing, including working for a leading end of life charity for 16 years, supporting people at the end of their lives, during which I frequently saw relatives who were totally exhausted and desperately in need of a few hours for themselves.
You may have your own appointments to attend or wish to attend a social group, a family event, catch up with a friend for a coffee, go shopping or for a walk. You deserve this “ me time”!
I can take away the stress of worrying who will look after your loved one whilst you’re out. I am able to provide personal care, assistance with meals/fluids and medication etc. or simply provide companionship.
I have full insurance, a DBS check and excellent references. Available for flexible one-offs or regular slots.
