Ask to see a provider’s portfolio

This symbol means that the enterprise leader has a portfolio (folder) containing all the elements that show how they meet our Doing It Right Standards. It will provide you with information on the way that they work, checks they have in place, policies, procedures, and more. You can ask to see it to help you make any care choices.

My name is Rebecca and after over thirty years’ experience of working in different care roles, I have decided to set up Small Steps Support and Care Services.  My friendly, reliable and approachable care provision is aimed to compliment your independent living, whilst giving you bespoke care and support at your own pace, in a sensitive, calm, kind and caring way.

What you can expect

I will provide you with good quality, flexible and unique care. This can include befriending, budgeting, benefit applications and reviews, housing related support, local travel, and gardening. In addition, I’m happy to support you with the collection and prompting of your medication, shopping, preparing and cooking healthy meals. I love animals and can support you with caring for your pet, managing household correspondence, decluttering and downsizing your home. I can also provide you with any personal care requirements.

About me

I have many years’ experience of working and supporting people with mental illness, learning disabilities and neurodivergent diagnosis; I also have lived experience.

My hobbies include knitting and crocheting as well as walking Breeze, our lively family border collie, reading with young children at our local primary school and attending our local church when I can.

I have a current DBS certificate, extensive training, and an NVQ level 3 in health and social care enabling me to provide a compassionate and meaningful support service for you.
